The questions contractors ask first
Is this survey-grade? Can you give us boundaries?
No — and we’ll say that up front rather than let you find out later. We provide documentation and estimating measurements from aerial imagery. We do not produce boundary determinations, lot lines, property lines, or survey-grade data, and we don’t offer volumetric or stockpile measurement. Anything that needs a licensed surveyor needs a licensed surveyor. What we’re good at is the dated visual record and the measurements that help you bid and document work.
We do offer a site orthomosaic — a stitched overhead map of the site — for planning, coordination, and visual documentation. It is not a survey product and carries no measurement guarantee. Use it to see the whole site at once and to show people where things are, not to compute quantities from.

Most do, and those photos are useful. They’re also shot from wherever he happened to be standing, which makes month three impossible to compare against month two — and they leave with him when he moves to the next job. Progress documentation is the same vantage points every visit, reported in a consistent format, stored where the office can pull it a year later.
Can you fly an active jobsite?
Yes. Flights are conducted by an FAA Part 107 licensed pilot, fully insured, scheduled around your operations, and coordinated with your site so we’re not working over active crews. We handle any airspace authorization the address requires — a fair number of Tri-State sites need one.
How fast do we get the report?
A few business days for a documented report. If you need raw imagery faster than that for a draw request or a dispute, say so when you book and we’ll get you the files first and the report after.
Do we have to commit to the whole project?
No contracts, no minimums. Book the baseline and decide about progress flights when you’ve seen it. Most contractors do exactly that.
How big a site can you cover?
Listed rates cover single sites up to roughly five acres. Larger sites and multi-site programs are quoted individually — send the addresses and we’ll price it.
